Established in 1989, Harrison Ince has excelled in all areas of building design through quality of work, attention to detail and a creative design team.

The success of the practice stems from a reliable approach to commissions and an understanding of client’s intentions. In recent years, we have emerged as one of the more creative practices in the UK with numerous design awards to our credit. The practice has also created a number of award winning commercial interiors together with innovative city centre residential developments.

Our office works as an 'open house' studio with design forums where all practice members are involved. Projects are approached from multiple angles producing the best possible design solution.

Andrew Ince, BA (Hons), B Arch, RIBA

Director and Founder

Andy is a chartered Architect with over 30 years experience working throughout the UK. Andy set up Harrison Ince in 1989, and was heavily involved with the development and regeneration of Manchester.

As past president of The Manchester Society of Architects, Andy is passionate about innovative Architecture and enjoys being involved in both new concept development as well as taking projects from feasibility to completion.

In recent years, Andy has taken the lead consultant role on a variety of highly successful projects in the Bar & Restaurant, Hotel & Leisure Sectors.

When not working, Andy enjoys the good things in life, golf, holidays, nice meals and spending time with his family.

Kay Brannon BA (Hons) Interior Architecture.


Kay is an Interior Architect with over 20 years experience in both the domestic and leisure sectors.

Since joining Harrison Ince in 1999, Kay has undertaken the role of Designer and Project Manager on a variety of highly successfully projects in the Hotel and Leisure sector, including new build projects and refurbishments throughout the UK.

In recent years, Kay has written articles for a number of industry magazines and worked closely with JD Wetherspoon to maintain and develop their existing estate and has conducted various training seminars for other Architects and Designers.

When not zooming around the country, Kay plays a brass instrument and is actively involved with a number of local community bands.
