Harrison Ince's challenge here was to create a vibrant pub interior within a 1960's town centre retail unit. We brought together a range of local historical context, including watchmaking, which flourished in Prescot during the 18th and 19th centuries, to conceive a design which is modern and inviting, with subtle references to local industries. A ceiling feature of replica cable drums was created to represent the British Insulated Calendars Cables company who were one of the town's main employers in the 1980s'.

Prescot's world-wide reputation for quality and craftsmanship was maintained within our scheme with intricate detailing and perplex components, brought together with immense artistry and precision. This design was so well received by our client, that they entered it into the Restaurant and Bar Design Awards 2012.
